ISO 27001 certified information security
The Letting Partnership (TLP) is certified to ISO 27001, the international standard for information security management. Handling client money means handling sensitive agency, landlord and tenant data, so our controls are independently assessed rather than self-declared.
Certification is maintained through regular internal audits and external surveillance audits by our certification body.
What the certification covers
Information Security Management System (ISMS)
A documented management system covering the policies, risk assessments and controls behind our client accounting services.
Access control and segregation
Role-based access to agency systems and client money data, reviewed regularly and removed promptly when roles change.
Staff training and vetting
Team members are vetted before joining and receive ongoing information security and client money training.
Monitoring and incident response
Defined procedures for identifying, reporting and responding to information security incidents.
Supplier and platform assurance
Reviews of the banking and property management platforms we work with on behalf of agents.
Continual improvement
Internal audits, management review and external surveillance audits to maintain certification.
