Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how The Letting Partnership Ltd ("TLP", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, thelettingpartnership.co.uk. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use personal information more generally.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work securely and efficiently, and to give information to the website operator.

We also use similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage and small tracking images (sometimes called "pixels"). In this policy, "cookies" includes these too.

How we use cookies

We use cookies to:

  • keep our website secure and working properly;
  • remember your cookie choices;
  • understand how the website is used so we can improve its performance and usability;
  • measure our advertising and see which of our adverts and web pages lead to enquiries; and
  • show embedded content from other providers, such as videos.

Except for strictly necessary cookies, we only set cookies if you have agreed to them.

Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to work and to keep it secure. They include security protection against bots and automated attacks, and remembering your cookie choices.

Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they are always active and do not require your consent under UK law. If you block them in your browser, parts of the website may not work.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the website. Analytics cookies collect information such as:

  • the pages you visit;
  • how long you spend on the website; and
  • how you arrive at the site.

We use this information to improve the performance and usability of the website. Analytics cookies are non-essential and are only set after you have given your consent through our cookie banner.

Marketing and advertising cookies

These cookies help us measure and improve our advertising, and link visits to our website with enquiries. They are non-essential and are only set after you have given your consent.

  • Google Ads. Google's advertising tags help us understand which adverts lead to enquiries. They may also be used by Google to show you adverts on other websites.
  • HubSpot. HubSpot is our customer relationship management and marketing platform. Its cookies record how you use our website and, if you later submit a form, connect your earlier visits to your enquiry. This helps us see, for example, which pages you viewed and which campaign brought you to us before you got in touch. HubSpot also uses small tracking images that record page views.

Embedded content

Some pages include content from other providers, such as customer reviews from Trustpilot. When this content loads, the provider may receive information such as your IP address and device details, and may set its own cookies or use your browser's local storage. These providers are responsible for how they use that information. Embedded content is non-essential and is only loaded after you have given your consent.

Information we send to Google when you make an enquiry

If you have consented to marketing and advertising cookies and you submit an enquiry or other lead form, we may send Google a "lead conversion" event. This can include your email address and phone number, which are scrambled using a one-way process known as hashing before they are sent. We use this to measure which adverts lead to enquiries. If you have not consented to marketing and advertising cookies, we do not send this information. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail, including your rights.

Managing your cookie preferences

When you first visit the website, you will be given the option to accept or reject non-essential cookies.

You can change your mind at any time. Select in the footer of any page to review your choices, withdraw your consent or give consent for categories you previously rejected. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies set before you withdrew it, and you may need to delete existing cookies in your browser as well.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • view cookies stored on your device;
  • delete existing cookies; and
  • block cookies entirely or on a site-by-site basis.

You can find out how to do this on your browser's help pages or at allaboutcookies.org. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
